What We Do

At the College & Career Access Center (CCAC), we help students and residents across Jackson County explore their future, build a plan, and take the next steps toward college, career training, and the workforce.

Through school-based programs, community initiatives, and one-on-one advising, our team works to ensure that every individual has access to the guidance, resources, and support needed to succeed after high school.

Our work reaches students at every stage of their journey—from early career awareness in middle school to financial aid, enrollment, and career planning support for graduating seniors and adults.

Our initiatives provide students and community members with opportunities to explore college and career pathways through workshops, campus visits, experiential learning, and community-based programming.

This includes programs that build early awareness for students, expand post-secondary readiness, and bring CCAC services directly into the community. Through partnerships with schools, local organizations, and community venues, we connect residents with the guidance and resources they need wherever they are.

These efforts are designed to build awareness, confidence, and preparation for life after high school and beyond.

Advising

Our College & Career Advisors provide personalized support to students and families across Jackson County. Through one-on-one consultations, workshops, and ongoing guidance, advisors help students navigate applications, financial aid, scholarships, career exploration, and post-secondary planning.

Whether a student is exploring college, career training, apprenticeships, military service, or direct entry into the workforce, the CCAC is here to help them take the next step toward their future.
