Monthly Scholarship Listings
In 2015, the College & Career Access Center reintroduced its Monthly Scholarship initiative. This monumental effort calls for continuous monthly research of upcoming institutional, local and national awards. Drawing from valuable feedback offered by our students and clients, the monthly listings are designed to be a time-efficient means for students to identify and apply for opportunities every month of the year. Each vetted scholarship is listed chronologically in an at-a-glance format. Bullet pointed eligibility guidelines are followed by a brief description of the scholarship, the award amount(s), deadline date and a link to the host site. Students can quickly and efficiently apply, knowing each opportunity comes from a legitimate, trusted source. The CCAC also seeks out scholarships that base awards on unusual or unique criteria, outside the standard GPA and demonstration of financial need. Writing contests, fun competitions, video projects, and talent-based contests provide creativity in the scholarship application process as well as ensure opportunities for all student types. Students may also subscribe to receive our monthly scholarship listings to their email account. In 2015, we had approximately 400 subscribers. As of the beginning of 2022, the CCAC is proud to be offering this valuable resource to over 2,600 loyal subscribers.
